- Aloe Vera is one of the oldest known medicinal herbs. It is known as the internal and
external healer. Two products are derived from various Aloe, and a muscilginious gel, the
source of "Aloe Vera Juice" and "Aloe Vera Gel." The juice and gel is
used internally as a cleanser, healer and tonic, and applied externally as a burn and
wound remedy.
- Sufficient clinical evidence exists to show that aloe vera is ideal for treating burns
caused by various means of radiation: Dermatitis, ezcema, inflammation, and similar skin
disorders that might be caused by X-Rays or coblt radiation therapy for cancer, have been
easily corrected by aloe vera gel.
- Aloe vera also possesses distinct analgesic qualities which allow ointment dressings on
third degree burns. Dense, which scare tissue is not seen after burns heal, but such areas
are reddish at first and remain smooth and pliable. Healing is very rapid when aloe vera
is used in preference to other medications.
- Some osteopathic physicians have discovered that aloe vera gel will help heal and also
prevent the development of peptic ulcers. The gel is an extraordinary soothing agent and
also inhibits the secretion of hydrochloric acid, which can aggravate an existing ulcer in
the stomach.
Common Dosage:
2 oz. of juice or gel, or 2 capsules of the freeze-dried gel, 3 times daily before
meals. |
