Origin Gotu kola is an ancient herb used for wound healing and leprosy and is part of traditional Indian medicine. It is a small herbal plant found mostly in damp areas in Africa, Madagascar, South Pacific, Australia, Indonesia, China, and India. Gotu kola is a quality product when it contains standardized active ingredients of 10% Asiatiocosides/ 16% Triterpenes. It has been confused with Cola or Kola nut which contains caffeine, however, gotu kola does not contain caffeine. What are the benefits? Gotu Kola is used mostly to help support the memory function. Some research has found that it contributes to antistress and mild antianxiety, in order to improve mental function.
